Walnut Process

Reception and Traceability

The received walnut is analyzed by our quality team and begins its registration process to ensure complete traceability.

Huller Process

The nut is separated from foreign materials: stones, branches and leaves. Next, by mechanical friction, its hair is detached and by means of electronic optical sensors, the superior quality fruits are selected by color.

Drying Process

At this stage, drying is carried out in an oven, which allows the fruit a suitable humidity for its conservation and quality.

 

Sizing Process

The walnuts are separated according to their size and prepared for shipment to packing and subsequent marketing: with or without shell, under manual or mechanical splitting, under quality controls according to the most demanding markets.
